Victor Torres (Plainview)

Victor Torres, 30, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview, Texas.

A rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022in the Kornerstone Chapel.

Victor was born on May 6, 1992 in Plainview, Texas to Baldemar and Anna Marie Torres. He married Janely Gonzalez in 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview, Texas.

He was known to be a big jokester. He was known as Vic to all of his friends and family members. Victor loved hockey and his favorite teams was the Boston Bruins. He was a great listener and he would drop everything to help someone in need. He was a respectful man that treated everyone as if they were his family. Victor always put everyone’s needs before his own. He loved his dog Lilypad and treated her like his child. He would even bring her happy meals for McDonalds. He was the life of the party and everyone spoke highly of him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Janely Torres of Plainview, Texas; his mother, Ann Maria Martinez of Plainview, Texas; his father Baldemar Torres of Plainview, Texas; his fur baby, Lilypad of Plainview, Texas; four sisters, Corina Torres of Lubbock, Texas, Alma Rosa Torres of Tucson, Arizona, Erica Gentile of Abilene, Texas and Noelle Morris of Anson, Texas and loved by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
