Virgie Marie Arnold (Plainivew)

Virgie Arnold, 72, passed away on July 21, 2018. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Oscar Chavez, chaplain, Area Community Hospice officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. She was born June 22, 1946 in Plainview, Texas to Joe Reese & Marion Davis Fite. She married Wayne Arnold, Jr. in March of 1963 in Plainview. She was a life member of the National Corvette Museum and the Commemorative Air Force. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Elaine Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Arnold, Jr. of Plainview; one sister, JoAnne Averett & husband Paul of Amarillo; son-in-law, Jeff Wilson of Lubbock; second cousins, Robert Lowery III & wife Kathy of Hart and Leesa Price & husband Edwin of Lubbock; granddaughter, Katherine Wilson of Lubbock; step grandson, J.P.
