Wanda House (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Wanda House, 86, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, TX. A memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Central Church of Christ in Tulia. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held before the service starting at 9:00 A.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Wanda was born on May 20, 1933 in the Lonestar community in Floyd County Texas to Sam and Lizzie Jack. She married Elven House on June 17, 1951 in Plainview, TX. Wanda was a faithful Christian and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She absolutely loved and adored her husband, children and grandchildren. She liked being outside and working in her garden. She always kept the right of-ways clear to at least ¼ of a mile in each direction of her home; that distance got larger every year. She also loved to sing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elven House; her parents and all four of her siblings. She is survived by three sons, Gary House and wife Lori of Lubbock, Larry House and wife Joni of Lubbock, and Michael House and wife Rhonda of Woodstock, GA; seven grandchildren, Page Watkins and husband Jon, Leah Wilson and husband Matt, Cara Middlebrooks and husband Michael, Johnathan House and wife Hannah, Lauribeth Williams and husband Travis, Taylor House and Jaden House; twelve great-grandchildren, Lilah Middlebrooks, Ella Wilson, Ava Wilson, Hadley House, Rylee Beth House, Joshua House, Dublin Williams, Katie Beth Williams, Emma Mae Williams, Russell Middlebrooks, Jackson Watkins and Jillian Watkins.   Memorials may be sent to Children’s Home of Lubbock 4404 Idalou Hwy Lubbock, TX 79403 or Parkridge Pregnancy Medical Clinic 5203 79th Street Lubbock, Texas 79424.
