Wanda Owensby (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Wanda Owensby, 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Wanda was born on June 22, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Tom and Priscilla Owensby. She attended grade school in Tulia and then moved to Colorado. She moved back to Tulia in 1997 where she enjoyed life. She loved animals, she loved her family and she loved Jesus, but most importantly she loved her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Bennie Leon Owensby and her sister: Valerie Owensby.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Priscilla and Ralph Hanson, III of Tulia, her sister: Linda Morris of Tulia, her grandchildren: Madi Lopez, Nicholas Shawn, Ralph Hanson, IV and Maylee Hanson, her great granddaughter: Peyton Grace Lopez, her nieces and nephews: Billy Rains of Amarillo, Gretta and David Ballard of Clovis, NM and their sons: Brennen, Brandon and Bryce, Eric and Robyn Rains of Amarillo and their daughter, Olivia, Bennie Leon Owensby, II of Colorado and Brian Owensby of Colorado. She is also survived by her two dogs: Charlie and Little Bubba.
