Wayne Beasley (Tulia)

Vigo Park, Texas—Roy Wayne Beasley, 76, died on Friday, March 19, 2021 in Amarillo. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in the Vigo Park Community Church with Paul George and Greg Culwell officiating. Burial will follow in Milo Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Wayne was born in Tulia on July 16, 1944 to Roy and Mary Pearl Beasley. He grew up in western Briscoe County. He attended San Jacinto Community Schools from 1^st thru 8^th grade and then went to Tulia High School where he graduated. He attended and graduated from Wayland Baptist College in Plainview. Wayne was a farmer all his life farming in Briscoe County. He worked for the City of Tulia for a short time. Wayne enjoyed farming and he enjoyed taking care of his cattle.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Leon Beasley.

He is survived by his sister: Faye Brown and husband Ray of Roanoke, Texas.
