William Trousdale Coffee, Jr. (Plainview)

William Trousdale Coffee, Jr., 76, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday June 1, 2021.  Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Petersburg Cemetery in Petersburg, Texas with Dr. David Rhoades of Broadview Baptist Church of Lubbock officiating.   A visitation to follow there at the cemetery.

William was born May 25, 1945 to William Trousdale and Laura (Thompson) Coffee.  Laura married Haskell Smith on January 22, 1953 and he took on the roll of William's father.  Haskell was in the military so William grew up all over but graduated from High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  He worked for Texas Instruments for many years and later at Wal-Mart.  He also worked at several convenience stores. William was married twice and had two daughters from the first marriage.

William was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Navada Smith and his father, Haskell Glen Smith; daughter Marlena Coffee; his birth father, William T. Coffee, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosa Coffee of Shallowater and his beloved dog Sandy and many other extended family members.
