Willie Strain (Plainview)

Willie Strain, 60, of Plainview, passed away on Monday March 5th, 2018.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Plainview with Pastor, Brad Snellgrove officiating and Mike Thompson  and Kevin Carter assisting. Burial will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Holly Hills Cemetery in Granbury, Texas.  Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Willie was born in Austin,TX to Norman Thomas Strain and Janie Shishido on July 27th, 1957. He was married to the love of his life Barbara for 23 years. He owned and operated Willie’s Tire in Plainview, TX for many years. Willie was truly one of a kind and was one of the most generous and kindest souls. He had a big heart and was always trying to help someone. His life had a big impact on so many people and his legacy will always be remembered. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Janie Strain. Willie is survived by his wife Barbara Strain, daughter Rachel Beauchamp and husband Brady; daughter Tia Tapp and husband Marshall. Step children; Aaron Holland and wife Judy, Chace Holland and wife Carla, Eleece Wilson and husband Brent. Siblings: Tweedie Jones and husband Terry, Bud Strain, Butch Strain and wife Jeannie, Bit Strain and wife Becky, Todd Strain and wife Gamze. Grandchildren Meg, Molly, Morgan, Christian, Bryson, Trinity, Cael, Dannee.
