W.T. "Dub" Hardy (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--William Thomas "Dub" Hardy Jr. of Fritch, TX passed away in Amarillo, TX on February 2, 2020 at the age of 95. He was a veteran of World War II.

Dub was born on August 29, 1924 in Wheeler, TX to William Thomas Hardy, Sr. & Minnie Finsterwald Hardy. He married Emma Lou Hickman on March 4, 1944. They enjoyed 72 years of marriage before Lou’s passing in 2016.

Dub is preceded in death by his wife; Emma Lou Hardy. He is survived by his son; Bill Hardy of Fritch, TX. His two grandsons; Heath & wife Kelly Hardy and Drew & wife Brittany Hardy, all of Fritch, TX. His six great grandchildren; Taylor & husband Kennen Mackey, Bailey & husband Jordan Cathey, Ty, Raegan, Sage & Cole Hardy, all of Fritch, TX and his great, great grandsons; Kalon & Kase Mackey of Fritch, TX.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with Father David Contreras officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

In lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a gift to the American Legion, #204 in Tulia, TX.
