Ysidro Villagomez (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Ysidro Villagomez, 84, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Tulia. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Ysidro was born on May 15, 1934 in Rancho San Nicolas, Municipal Villa Morelos, Michoacán, Mexico to Francisco and Elpidia (Reyes) Villagomez. He married Maria Lemus Villagomez in 1960 in Mexico and together they did everything to support their family through the hard times. Ysidro would work long nights to provide for his family as a rancher, farmer and also taking care of his cattle. He came to the US in 1983 and worked at the Ramirez Tortilla Factory for several years and later went to work for Bartlett Feed Yard until he became disabled to work. He will always be remembered as a hard working man with a loving heart who helped his family to achieve their dreams.  He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Francisco and Elpidia Villagomez, his wife: Maria Villagomez, four sons: Israel Villagomez, Alfredo Villagomez, Alfredo Villagomez, II and Javier Villagomez, two sisters: Josefina Villagomez and Esperanza Villagomez.

He is survived by his daughters: Maria Luisa Villagomez, Carmen Villagomez, Salud Avila Villagomez, Antonia Villagomez, Marciella Nieto Villagomez, Maria Eliazar Villagomez, his sons: Jose Luis Villagomez and Rafael Villagomez his sisters: Olivia Villagomez, Margarita Villagomez and Maria Villagomez, his brothers: Salvador Villagomez, Raul Villagomez, Francisco Villagomez and Luis Villagomez, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

 Tulia, Texas-Ysidro Villagomez, de 84 años, falleció el viernes 18 de enero de 2019 en Tulia. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 2:00 p.m. del lunes 21 de enero de 2019 en la Iglesia Católica del Espíritu Santo, oficiando el padre David Contreras. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Rose Hill, bajo el cuidado de Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Se llevará a cabo un rosario el domingo 20 de enero de 2019 de 5:30 a 7:00 pm en la Capilla de Directores Funerarios de Kornerstone.

Ysidro nació el 15 de mayo de 1934 en Rancho San Nicolas Municipal Villa Morelos, Michoacán, México a Francisco y Elpidia (Reyes) Villagomez. Se casó con Maria Lemus Villagomez en 1960 en México y juntos hicieron todo lo posible para ayudar a su familia en los momentos difíciles. Ysidro trabajaba largas noches para cuidar a su familia como ganadero, y ranchero. Llegó se vino para los Estados Unidios en 1983 y trabajó en la fábrica de tortillas Ramírez durante varios años y luego trabajó en el  Bartlett Feed Yards hasta que quedó incapacitado para trabajar. Siempre será recordado como un hombre trabajador con un corazón amoroso que ayudó a su familia a alcanzar sus sueños. Fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica del Espíritu Santo.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres: Francisco y Elpidia Villagomez, su esposa: Maria Villagomez, cuatro hijos: Israel Villagomez, Alfredo Villagomez, Alfredo Villagomez II y Javier Villagomez, dos hermanas: Josefina Villagomez y Esperanza Villagomez.

Le sobreviven sus hijas: Maria Luisa Villagomez, Carmen Villagomez, Salud Avila Villagomez, Antonia Villagomez, Marciella Nieto Villagomez, Maria Eliazar Villagomez, sus hijos: Jose Luis Villagomez y Rafael Villagomez sus hermanas: Olivia Villagomez, Margarita Villagomez y Maria Villagomez, sus hermanos: Salvador Villagómez, Raúl Villagómez, Francisco Villagómez y Luis Villagómez, muchos nietos y bisnietos.
